Lytham Hall is a fine grade I listed 18th Century manor house on the Lancashire Fylde Coast. Built by John Carr of York in the 1750's for Thomas Clifton, it is a perfect example of a Georgian Country House and stands in almost 80 acres of wooded parkland. The Hall is at the end of a three quarters of a mile long drive and surrounded on all sides by trees, which add to the overwhelming feeling of privacy and seclusion.

Dining at the Hall

Lytham Hall is an ideal venue for private functions. Guests can circulate in the elegant main Entrance Hall with its stone flagged floor and rococo-style wall and ceiling decoration.

The Gillow Room has a splendid alcove servery by Gillow of Lancaster, where you will be surrounded by paintings of the Clifton Family. The room holds up to 32 covers on the Gillow table.

The Gold Room, decorated with richly ornate hand-painted wallpaper and gold-leaf painted ceiling-high mirrors, offering a splendid vista of the front lawn, can seat up to 48 covers.

Drinks Reception

Drinks and canapés are usually served in the Entrance Hall and guests can circulate on the front lawn during the summer or relax around the blazing log fire in the colder months. Your guests can then walk to the marquee for a sit-down lunch or dinner.

Events

A celebration is a very special event and we wish to ensure that it is a memorable one for all concerned. The following is merely a brief outline of the services we provide but as every function is unique we prefer not to work to a strict formula.

Small numbers of guests can be accommodated in the Main Hall for a sit-down meal. Alternatively a marquee can be provided on the front lawn for larger parties.

Birthday Parties, Naming Ceremonies and Drinks Receptions

You will have exclusive use of your chosen room and the Entrance Hall, staircase and grounds for photographs and drinks.

Catering

An extremely high standard of food and beverages are supplied by our caterer Rowley's.
If you wish you can contact Paul Rowley directly. His team are based at the Lindum Hotel and can be contacted on (01253) 721534 or (07973) 747747 where he will be happy to discuss your event in more detail.

Marquee event

Large parties can be accommodated in a marquee reception on the front lawn.

For such occasions the hall would usually be used for photographs, drinks, and canapes, and then guests would go to the marquee for the meal and evening entertainment.
